What we hold
For every account we store your name, email address, and optional firm name. If you subscribe, we store your plan and billing cycle. We never see or store your card number: Stripe handles that on its own servers.
For every memo you run we store the structured memo content, the source document text you submitted, and the metadata: company name, sector, stage, which model produced it and when. The memo content is what lets you open a past memo without re-running it.
We do not use your document text or the memos produced from it to train any model. The document text is sent to a model provider to produce your memo and stored so you can open the memo again. Your deal information stays inside your account.
How to export
Each memo can be exported as a PDF or Word file from the memo view. The export includes the full five-section memo: summary, market, metrics, ranked risks with evidence quotes, and founder questions. Export is available on Angel and Fund plans.
Single memo
Open the memo from the deals list, then choose Export. PDF and Word formats are both available.
Full account export
Email us at privacy@meridianalabs.com and we will send a structured export of all your memos within five business days.
How to delete
You can delete individual memos from the deals list at any time. Deleting a memo removes the structured memo content and the source document text from our database. The deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
To delete your whole account, go to Settings and choose Delete account. This removes your account, all your memos, and the source document text. We keep a log of the deletion for 30 days for fraud prevention, then that log is removed too.
What deletion removes
- Your account: name, email, firm, password hash.
- All memos you have run: the structured content and the source deck text.
- Your billing subscription, at the end of the current period.
- Any form submissions you sent us, after 30 days.
If you prefer to submit a deletion request by email, write to privacy@meridianalabs.com and we will confirm completion within 30 days.
